Black bleeds on me.
The wonder is gone.
My innocence lost.
Regret is my song.
The moth has eaten my soul
Exposing the inward parts
My skin is like shredded rags
Shivering in pain.
The light tries to penetrate,
The life tries to see
The blankness of days swallows me.
The tamed keeper of my soul has taken a break,
And my core bleeds.
I’ve been disconnected
Misdirected
Shaken to the bone
Tattered and lonely
I want to go home.
An orphan on a journey
On the highway to nowhere
My heart aches for identity
For someone to say hi.
